It means you get one of the best quality steels used in Japan for making knives and other top quality steel products. Blue Paper steel enables a very sharp edge to be created and it also retains that edge for longer in between sharpenning. The Handles are Japanese white oak - a strong and very attractive timber that just adds that beautriful refined finish.
